Bill Holland is Chairman of FirstHCM and NEXCareer, and President & CEO of wwwork!com and BigFatJobs. Bill’s career spans more than 30 years in consulting which includes the leadership of Mandrake’s FMCG executive search practice, preceded by positions in sales and marketing in the consumer products and retail merchandising sectors.
Bill's consulting experience encompasses a broad range of industries and corporate functions. As the result of completing more than 500 engagements, Bill has developed an extensive knowledge base in human capital management, enabling him to offer clients a unique perspective on the development of their organizational strategy, leadership and staffing solutions.
Bill is credited for the development and launch of a number of human capital businesses including: wwwork!com, a national provider of management selection services; NEXCareer, a leading career transition firm; FirstHCM, a human capital management consultancy; and most recently, BigFatJobs which provides outsourced staffing solutions to Fortune 1000 companies.
Bill is a keen study of human dynamics in the workplace, and regularly expresses his point of view through articles written for news@wwwork!, and the career advise column Ask Bill. He is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and the International Association for Corporate and Professional Recruitment.
Bill chairs the wwwork! Corporate Giving Program, which supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada and their continuing efforts to make a difference to the youth of today. He has two daughters and three wonderful grandchildren, and balances his passion for work through his family. Bill is an avid sailor and enjoys golfing and skiing.
