Elisabeth
is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has a degree in Economics. She
put this to good use working for several departments of the Federal Government,
including the Department of Communications, Consumer and Corporate Affairs and
the Treasury Board. Elisabeth went on to become
a Vice President in the newly created Canada Post Corporation. Here she held VP
positions of Planning, Retail, Real Estate and Senior Vice President Administration.
She then became President, Canada Post Systems Management Inc., a fully owned
subsidiary of Canada Post, which marketed distribution technology to postal administrations
throughout the world. In 1997 Elisabeth joined
NavCanada immediately after its privatization and was Vice President and Human
Resources Officer until 2002, when she was appointed by the Minister of Labour
as a Member, Canada Industrial Relations Board. On
moving from Ottawa to Toronto in 2004, Elisabeth was invited to join BackCheck
Information Corporation as a Vice President. |
